Very nice deisgn!

This came out very well! Im not surprised this got front page. You gave each individual owl its own personality, I like that. It makes it very interesting to look at. Your choice of colors have a very good flow to it as well. Just wondering, did you digitally make this? or was it painted on? Im sure your girlfriend and buddy will really appreciate this as a Christmas gift, i know i would. Merry Christmas Vonschlippe. I will be looking forward to seeing more of your work. :)

Hehe Merry Christmas to you as well!

This is a vinyl topsheet that's applied to a regular board. You get it printed out as a rectangle, stick it on, trim the excess, and finally you apply heat to seal it. It's not very hard and it gives a durable result that should stay perfect until the end of life of the board! I'm very glad you like it and thanks for the review!

"Not Bad"

First off, congrats on front page! This is a very nice action shot. Capturing motion can be pretty hard to do. Some things you might want to work on would be your lighting. I see that you are using the fire as one but you might want to add some more contrast to that source. Make it pop out to give it more of a dramatic feel. You have very dark dark's, but no light lights. Also, what type of creature is Khajiit slaying? a dragon or a bird? Maybe a dragonbird? Don't be afraid to reference. I cant really tell if it has feathers or scales. You did a decent job on the face, but try adding the same quality to the rest of the creature. Its tough but it will pay off in the end. The snow flakes are not bad, but next time try playing around with the flow of the brush. Blur filters can be useful, but can easily turn out tacky in the final product. You have some talent keep up the good work!

Wow, thank you for the insightful review! I agree that capturing motion is extremely difficult. In fact, this is one of my first ever attempts to capture actual motion. Most of my stuff is portrait type stuff. I agree about the contrast. I really tried to make brighter highlights. It just seemed like when I did, it made him look like a white dragon, when he should really be jet black. If I had spent more time, it probably would have worked out. Thanks for taking the time to catch that. I originally made it as a dragon of my own design...perhaps with some bird elements, but I figured it kind of looked like the dragon character, Alduin, so I made some attempts to make it more like him. You aren't the first to think it looks like a bird. I probably should have put more contrast on the neck to not make it look so thick...and yeah, less spikes. Hey thanks. I saw several awesome artworks using the same motion blur filters, so I figured it would work. I probably should have done more research trying to figure out what other effects would make it better. But hey. Your review was every informative. I will definitely reference it for my future artwork. Thanks dude. :)
